Russian soldiers guarding the remains of the plane crash in Smolensk that killed the Polish president, and many of Poland's leading citizens, have been charged by Russia with stealing credit cards from the deceased. The money was used to buy food and alcohol.

The Russian state is rotten to the core. It's going to take more than Medvedev's feel-good rhetoric to change things. This isn't going to be good for the Russia-Polish rapprochement either.
